Sandy B. entered our program seeking a safe place to work on her sobriety and methamphetamine addiction. After a single relapse at four months, Sandy got back on track, enrolled in culinary school, and graduated in 2009. She now works at a Kona resort, resides in one of our independent living apartments, and is a role model for the Alahou community.

Lee Ann B. was placed in our program by her parole officer as an alternative to six years in jail for drugs and theft. She worked diligently on her recovery, also achieving a Certified Nursing Assistant certification. She now works for a local clinic, resides in one of our independent living apartments, and is a role model for the Alahou community.
