Show Up Powerfully: What I Bring to the World
Hilo, Hawai‘i – October 10, 2024 – Sylvia Dolena presents the free training “Show Up Powerfully: What I Bring to the World” on Friday, November 8, 2024. Part of Ku‘ikahi Mediation Center’s “Collaboration, Teamwork, and Leadership” Training Series, this workshop runs from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at University of Hawai‘i at Hilo, UCB 127, 200 W. Kawili Street, Hilo.
“Learn self-analysis techniques that highlight what you need, including skill identification, capabilities, talents, roles, confidence, and self-development,” says Dolena. “Great if you’re starting a new career or experiencing changes within your professional life.”
In this workshop, you will gain tools to help you tap into your abilities, learn to show up as your best “you,” and decide what kind of energy you bring to the table.
Sylvia Kahalia Dolena worked for Hewlett-Packard (HP) for 18 years, including as a Global Programs and Operations Manager and as a Strategic Change Project Manager. She has worked as an external business consultant with HP and other high-tech and retail companies like AMD and Best Buy. Recently, Dolena was a Project Manager for one Fortune 100 Company’s new Leadership Certification Program. She delivers workshops and leadership development programs in Hawai‘i and nationally. She holds an MBA in Organizational Effectiveness from University of Southern California and an MS in Strategic Management of Technology Organizations from Stanford and IESE, the European School of Business in Barcelona.
The in-person training is free, with a $15 materials fee.
